A successful and expanding travel company are looking for Travel Consultants to work within their busy office selling package holidays, flights and accommodation. This is a fast paced targeted environment with great earning potential - Top sellers are earning £30000 a year!!!!
These roles are to start in March 2010 to cover a busy period until the end of August 2010 but there is a possibility that they may go permanent!!
Travel Sales Consultant tasks and responsibilities:
- Dealing with high numbers of enquiries and converting into bookings
- Up-selling and booking on ancillary travel products
- Identify the customer's needs effectively and efficiently and sell products that best meet these needs
- Be able to navigate the web sites and travel booking systems efficiently and effectively.
- Achieve and exceed set targets.
Travel Consultant remuneration package:
- Basic salary to £17000, OTE £30000!!!!
- Lucrative uncapped commission structure

Travel Sales Consultant skill attributes:
- Candidates must have travel agency/ tour operating reservations experience
- Ideally you will have Viewdata and Travelcat experience
- Sound geographic knowledge
- Excellent experience on working towards set targets
- Thorough and meticulous with extreme attention to detail.
- Proactive team player, but self motivated
- Flexibility to work shifts
